Day 3 Cheyenne to Colorado Springs Colorado

This morning we left the wind behind for Colorful Colorado. We also parted with my mom and our dog Kate. They headed back to Heber for the summer while we are on the road. We are going to miss Kate and I think she will miss us too, but things will be all right. Kate and my mom get along really well.

We made it to Colorado Springs to meet up with Michelle's Aunt Louann and Michelle's cousin Adam. We then drove to Manitou Springs for lunch at a Mexican restaurant. Manitou is a little bit a of a different town. There is a hemp store and a place called Mushroom Monday.

After lunch we drove over to Garden of the Gods which is very close to Manitou. A great thing about Garden of the Gods is that it is FREE. It is kind of a small area, but there are very beautiful areas.
