We drove 199 miles today from San Diego to L.A. today. Traffic was crazy, but that's what is expected in this area. We drove to Holly wood to get a picture of the Hollywood sign. Then we drove a little bit on Hollywood Boulevard. That was crazy too. Michelle was feeling a bit overwhelmed by all the people and cars. She said "I would rather go to the Beach." So we drove to Manhattan Beach and had a blast. We walked on the Pier, saw a mini aquarium, played in the water, played in the sand, and just had a great time. Nakai and Sora got pretty wet. It was good because they had an awesome time. After the Beach we got cleaned off and drove to my good friend Humberto and his wife Marina's house. We went to a great Chinese restaurant then to a great Ice Cream place for ICE CREAM MONDAY.

Nakai had a couple of funnies today. We were eating at IHOP for lunch and he was eating some fries and said, "These fries taste like potatoes." Michelle and I just looked at each other and laughed. Then his joke for the day was, "why did the chicken cross the road? For a perfectly legitimate reason."
