Today we drove 498 miles from LA to Flagstaff. We enjoyed LA rush hour traffic this morning and our first car problems. We didn't take any pictures today. We were too worried about the van and there really wasn't anything to take a picture of. When we got to Flagstaff we went straight to the car repair shop and had them check it out. We got there 45 minutes before closing time, but they said they would look at it. We are staying at our friend Jeremy and Cori's house. Jeremy picked me and the kids up from the car repair shop while Nathan waited to find out what was wrong with the van. Turns out the last time the brakes were worked on the brake line was not put in the correct spot and it had just enough friction that it split the line and soaked the brake pads. Anyway they agreed to stay late and fix it. They were done in about an hour after they figured out what was wrong with it. They were very nice. So we are back in business.
When Nathan got back we went to dinner at a really good Mexican restaurant called Salsa Brava. When we got back from dinner the kids had a disco ball and strobe light set up. They are having a ball playing together. We will see how tomorrow goes with them being up so late tonight.
