With Basecamp for the next couple of days (mostly just for sleeping) at the Courtyard San Diego, we made our way up the road a short ways to LEGOLAND. Before even going into the park Nakai was so excited he said "My heart is beating so fast it might beat out of my chest." We walked in and saw Chima and the kids got a picture with him. We watched a 4D movie then off to the rides. We rode ride, after ride, after ride, after ride. Nakai and Sora were so excited the whole day. I even heard at one point in the day Nakai said he thought it was better than Carlsbad Caverns. They were also very well behaved. They were better than most of the other kids there. I know I am biased of my kids, but we saw a lot of kids that were brats and we were glad to have our two.
As we left Michelle asked the kids what the best part of the park was and they said everything. Than Sora said she was a little disappointed because one of the rides was lame. The reason it was lame is because she is about 1 inch short of doing the same thing that Nakai got to do. She asked how she could get taller and Nakai said "the best way to get taller is to eat more meat." We thought it was a little funny. We drove back to San Diego and had a good meal at an Indian restaurant.

Only 71 miles driven today, but 8 hours at LEGOLAND will make anybody tired...Tomorrow we are going to the Zoo.
