Our hotel from street level.
Today was a long day, but a good day. It started off with Nakai pulling out one of his loose teeth. Hopefully Harry the Tooth Fairy can find us here in D.C. to give him some money... We walked a block to breakfast, then a couple more to the Museum of American History. We arrived about 15 minutes before they opened, so we just hung out for a little bit. We wondered around there for a few hours. It was pretty cool.
After that we walked to the next block for the Museum of Natural History. It was also pretty neat.
We had been walking pretty much non stop from 9 until about 5 or so. We headed back toward the hotel and stopped at the Hard Rock café for a dinner. It was a decent dinner, but one of the coolest things about it was our table was near a guitar signed by Prince.
Since today is Monday and everybody did really well we thought it would be great to walk a few blocks to a gelato place and have "ICE CREAM MONDAY!" It was a little pricey, but very tasty.
Back to the hotel to relax and get a good night sleep after a long day beating the streets and museum floors.
