Day 35 Cherokee North Carolina

First of all I have to say sorry for not updating in a few days, but we were camping in a KOA cabin outside of Cherokee and we did not have any connections there. It also rained A LOT! Rain has been the main thing the past few days.

Start of the day was at the Cherokee Museum. It was really awesome. As we were finishing we looked outside and saw it was pouring like crazy. We planned on going to the Oconoluftee Indian Village, but when we got there a guy told me that the park was flooding. We wanted to see the village, but not really in the flooding. So we went to plan B. We drove about 20 minutes to a theater and saw Monsters University. It was a good alternative to being flooded out.

After the movie we headed back to our accommodations for the next 2 nights. We were in a hotel room, but they didn't have more nights available, so we went to a cabin. It was very basic. It only had a bed for us and a bunk bed for the kids. It was home for the next 2 nights. We didn't do much, because it rained, and rained, and rained some more.....

This guy was hanging out in our cabin when we walked in
